Prepare at ~25 % solids with warm water. Feed every 3–4 hours until chicks reach full feathering or species‐specific weaning stage. Gradually reduce frequency as weaning nears.
Feeding Frequency Based on Chick Age:
- Hatchlings (0-2 days): Feed every 2 hours throughout the night.
- Featherless Chicks (3-7 days): Feed every 4 hours, with a 6-hour night break.
- Chicks with Pin Feathers (8-21 days): Feed every 4-6 hours.
- Fully Feathered Chicks (21+ days): Feed 2-3 times daily.
